Went and got my rear tire mounted and spun balanced at Woody's Wheels Monday. Off the bike a grand total of $45.
Saved a few hundred from Harley, and besides they're not open on Monday's anyway.
Kept the old AE2 because it only had 1,882 miles on it - but after looking at it really
close, it's shot. That fucking hole is too big to be trusted.

Sucks a tire with less than 2000 miles on it is shot. I agree that is a rather large hole to try and plug or patch.

woverby That plate reminded me in the early 90's I had a Colorado plate on my old Shovelhead FLT "LMPSTER".
LMPSTR Should have been easy to figure out, right? LLLL UUU MMM PPP STER but they only allow 6 letters so LMPSTER it was.
Coming out of the Piper Inn one afternoon I saw an absolutely gorgeous chick standing there staring at the back of my bike.
She said what's that plate say? I said, "sound it out gorgeous!"
She says slowly, "LLLLLL IIIIII MMMMMM PPPPP STER?"
I said no it's LLLLL UUUUU MMMMM PPPPP STER!
I immediately removed the plate and rode home. Cut it up with tin snips and rode for another week or two with no plate at all
Bwahahahahahaha!
